Southern Estate Alpacas has a total of 9 alpacas, 1 guard lama and 4 Great Pyrenees guard dogs. Now that we have everyone on the farm and a daily routine has been established we plan on adding several new additions to our herd. We are planing on getting some east coast bloodlines and adding a big name herdsire that will define what Southern Estate Alpacas will soon become. Three of our females are currently pregnant which will get us to a dozen within a few months. Our pastures are looking good and we have plenty of room for expansion because we are only using about 5 of 20 acres at the present time.
